I would like to call it beauty.
Holly Golightly
: You know those days when you get the mean reds?
(...)
Holly Golightly : Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a c ab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad Could Happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then - Then I'd buy Some furniture and Give the cat a name!
Sometimes I feel like that too.
But Tiffany's is far, five hundred miles away from home. And five hundred miles are too many to simply catch a taxi and plants there.
So I had to think of another way to make me feel better.
While looking for a place where you feel like jewelry blue boxes with white ribbons Auditors me di ta of that beauty-of packages, diamonds , precious stones, is also here.
In heaven, in the mirror, in magazines.
Beauty is in the moon, waxing and waning every night of the month.
's in these cookies that your grandmother used to do. The churro hot chocolate drenched Epiphany.
Perhaps those desserts so beautiful that only you can imagine but have not ever tasted.
Or maybe in Becquer, if today you feel cheesy.
In those pleasures that you enjoyed as a child. Share your favorite ice cream, stain your uncle's nose with cream.
Discover the rainbow in the clouds. And smile like a child. Touch the name that represents both a bowling form in your closet. Touch the red soles of shoes.
The early awakenings, raucous laughter, strawberry smoothies with whipped cream.
The smell of your favorite perfume. The smell of your mother. Ballet steps that you can not stop repeating in your mind and your feet constantly practice.
Turn the pages of Vogue. And see an image, a dress, a gorgeous model ... and let the beauty-or the illusion of one day being part of the list of names to create these pages you have in your hands, you steal a tear.
And get ten, maybe twenty years later, those links you hated when you were little.
You find it, always, in some Neruda’s words.
